A web designer is an expert who designs the interfaces of web pages in a technical, structural, graphic and strategic manner, considering the simplicity and immediacy of navigation, the orientation of the user, in order to drive the user’s click towards his goal. The web that plans the designer must be accessible; usable and communicative; must present the contents in a legible and structured way.

The web designer decides the style of the web pages (graphics, layout, typography and colours); he must also know how to adapt his work to other devices such as mobile phones and tablets, and he updates graphic aspects whenever necessary.

Today’s web designer has much more tools than twenty years ago. Based on the project to be completed and the client’s budget, he also works with the content manager, the copywriter, the SEO consultant, the web marketing specialist and the web developer.

The web designer is a creative expert in communication, he has technical skills, he knows the user experience of the sites, and he has basic knowledge of SEO, HTML, CSS, PhP and / or Javascript. To become a professional web designer you have to do a lot of practice, to have an academic education by school, online courses or books.
